Today, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey signed a supplemental SOE that would allow Dr. Mackey, Alabama Superintendent, and his team to provide instruction from home starting April 6, 2020, for the remainder of the school year.
Governor Ivey said, “This decision has been made with a tremendous amount of concern and discussion. I cannot stress enough to you that we have got to be serious about eliminating the spread of this virus. The public health orders are not suggestions – they have been put in place to save your life.”
